Whether it’s winter or summer, many cyclists worry about how to store their ebikes and about their performance, stability and riding safety. These concerns do not exist if you purchase a bike that has undergone rigorous temperature testing.

Therefore, ADO addresses the common consumer concern that based on international test standard, ADO laboratory has formulated stricter high and low temperature test standard in line with characteristics of electric bicycle.Watch the video to learn more about the test:

Safety first and prevention is better than cure. In ADO environmental simulation laboratory, we test the temperature tolerance of our products by simulating the real and extreme temperature conditions to ensure the products’ stabilization and safety. Besides testing the absolute temperatures, we also consider the frequency and the speed of temperature changes for the durability of the electronic components of an E-Bike.

ADO QTL laboratory work according to a variety of international standards

The first test is the temperature shock test:

For the temperature shock test, we use a 2-chamber air-to-air system. The maximum temperature of the hot chamber is set at 80°C and the cold chamber at -40°C. The tester is transported back and forth between the hot and cold chambers several times. Through this experiment, weaknesses are identified, upgraded, and adjusted. Therefore, we can ensure that ADO’s products work well even in extreme temperature conditions.

-40°C low temperature storage setting

after 48 hours of storage at -40°C

The second is high-low temperature storage test:

We created test chambers with a constant temperature of -40°C and 70°C respectively. E-Bikes are stored in these test chambers for 48 hours. This provides the basis for the safe storage of ADO E-Bikes in all climate zones around the world.

The third is functional testing under extreme temperature conditions:

We simulated -15°C and 45°C as well as the other outdoor conditions such as shocks and loads. Our E-Bikes are run continuously for 12 hours in the test chamber, to confirm that ADO E-Bikes can be ridden safely in all conditions.

Standards and procedures in testing include:

GB/T 2423.1—2008

GB/T 2423.2—2008

GB/T 2423.22—2002

GJB150.3a-2009

GJB150.4a-2009

GJB 150.9A-2009

GJB360A-1996

ADO Ebike guarantees that every bike from ADO will pass 100% of the test requirements, making it the cornerstone of your short-distance travel.

Tanti test di durata ma se capita la bici non campionata con collaudo e improvvisamente ti lascia a piedi a chi ti rivolgi?
