Is it possible to change speed? Is it weatherproof?
ADO Air 20 has a single gear. However, you can choose to use 3 levels of electrical power to assist your ride. Besides, ADO Air 20 is equipped with a smart torque sensor system that provides you immediate power assistance according to terrain. In this case, even if you ride or start the ride on an incline, you will get the assistance you need immediately even with a single gear.
Yes, ADO Air 20 is IPX5 waterproof and the IPS display is IPX7 waterproof, all electronic components are sealed to prevent ingress of heavy rain and dust.
Is ADO Air 20 certified?
According to SGS CE EN15194 and SGS UKCA, ADO Air 20 conforms to the requirements of: Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), the EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), and the Radio Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU), and DIN EN 15194:2017, and ADO Air 20 battery complies with UN 38.3 lithium-ion battery testing standards.
What is the difference between the International and EU versions? Which option is best for me?
Check the e-bike laws in your country when making your decision:
* EU version to be compliant with laws on e-bikes in most EU-countries: no throttle installed, max speed 25km/h, peak power 250w.
* International version with no restrictions: throttle installed, max speed 30km/h, peak power 350w.
If you order the international version of ADO Air 20 within the EU, you will receive a charger that meets EU specifications.But it is not officially legal to drive ADO Air 20 international version on public roads in the EU. You are only allowed to own it and drive it on private property.
How long is the warranty period?
For bike frame, 5 years warranty; For controllers, motors, batteries, forks, head tubes, handlebars, chargers, pedals, flywheels, chainstays: 12 months warranty. Should you encounter some production related manufacturer’s defect during this period, we will take care of it according to our warranty. I purchased this bike because I need to use it to travel to work and still be able to use the Train or Bus without having to pay extra. And I can say, its done its purpose. The bike is almost 3 kg more than what was advertised, which was a little bit hard for me, because Im just a small woman with small stature, but it is still better and lighter than what I purchased from other store before, which i returned. Overall in satisfied condition with my purchase. The Bike is really beautiful, cant live it outside.
Nothing but praise for the ADO Air 20. It components are of better quality than other foldable e-bikes on the same price range: from the hydraulic disc brakes to the high quality LED, tires and the mechanical locks and hinges... It definitely stands above all competitors. I'm super happy with it.

Overall Description
This e-bike is designed for urban and flat riding, but it has some significant issues that limit its functionality and comfort. Although it offers electric assistance to make pedaling easier, there are some shortcomings that should be carefully considered before purchasing.
Positive Points
1. Electric Assistance: Like all e-bikes, this one also offers electric assistance that makes pedaling easier, making the ride less tiring, especially in cities with many stops and starts. This is a great advantage for those looking for an alternative to a traditional bicycle without sacrificing ease of movement.
2. Urban Use: The lack of a gear may be tolerable for those who use the bike primarily in the city or on flat terrain. In these contexts, the electric assistance can partially compensate for the lack of gears to change gear.
Critical Points
1. Front Disc Problem: The presence of problems with the front disc brake is a serious concern. The constant noise while pedaling, the vibration on the handlebars, (due to a crooked disc) compromises the comfort of riding and hopefully does not represent a significant safety risk, especially in emergency braking situations.
2. Lack of Gears: The lack of a gear greatly limits the versatility of the e-bike. Without the ability to adjust the gears, the cyclist is forced to pedal with the same resistance regardless of the type of terrain. This can make riding less efficient and more tiring when climbing hills or when pedaling against the wind, even with the electric assistance active. The lack of gears can also reduce the control of speed and acceleration, affecting the overall riding experience.

We have only had the bike for a short time however so far it has been excellent. Provides very smooth assistance whilst at the same time giving you some excercise which is great. Customer service from ADO has been excellent. Responded quickly and bike was delivered quickly
