The Pro version uses a Bafang built-in two-speed automatic shifting motor, while the Ultra version uses a Bafang built-in three-speed automatic shifting motor. I leave in a city with lots of hills , The Air 20 Ultra grab it with no problem, even the hardest !I have it for 3 weeks and already 200 km.No REGRET! "I Cross the city" in 20 minutes so bye bye metros, cars, traffic jams who make me mad.
First day I had problems with the seatpost clamp, I wrote to Ado, they reacted very quickly and send me another one.

500kms update

4 weeks 500kms. I am a 70 year old male ihave been riding/racing (competitively) on and off road bikes for over 47 years. Health issues force me to adapt to a more leisurely/touring mode. Purchased for its versatility, its ease of transport (folded or otherwise). Casual rides at 18-20kph 1000mtrs of ascent and 80kms are acheivable. Our two bikes have been set up with panniers and front bags for bike packing trips of 7 to 10 days+. Out of the box it is a little over 22kgs, but well balanced so weight is not noticeable. It folds and fits in a car but heavy to carry over distance. Wheeling the folded bike is not as easy. The magnetic catch does not hold the bike, a secure strap is more effective. The Lights on the bike work as described. The Carbon belt offers a smooth ride with less maintainence. The bike is extremely quiet. Folding pedals offer a good non slip platform. The geometry and design is well thought out. Handling slightly more noticeable at very slow speeds with smaller 20ï¿½ï¿½ wheels but once rolling it is solid and gives a confident ride.The stability and handling of this bike is solid 60kph. The Ultra feels secure when riding hard packed tracks. It climbs well but cadence and gear changing needs improvement.The adjustable bar/seat height allows for a comfortable riding position. I purchased 2 of these bikes, My wife is 5ï¿½ï¿½3ï¿½ï¿½(160cm)with a 72.5cm inside leg measurement and the ADO ultra fits no problem. Concerned initialy as to how far the seat post could drop before being vulnerable to ground strikes. ADO were quick to reply to address my concerns prior to the purchase. I, am 5ï¿½ï¿½11ï¿½ï¿½ (180.5cm) with a very long inside leg measurement of 85cm. To get a full straight leg for riding comfortably the seat post needs to be 1ï¿½ï¿½ above the recommended maximum. If the seat post (battery casing) were extended it would accommodate the longer in-seam. The electric assist levels work very well. There is an option to change the way the levels work on the display unit of the cockpit. The Air 20 Ultra has 2 basic modes of power assist, Eco and Sport, THESE ARE CHANGEABLE ON THE FLY. In each mode the display can be changed to show 5 or 3 bars of level assist. Each level is noticeable and makes a difference when engaged by pressing + or - buttons on the display of the handlebars. I personally find that Eco mode has more than enough assist and the Sport is not needed. The 3 speed gears work independently of any power assist. The gearing will take some getting used to. I can say with a large degree of accuracy, that the gear changes from 1st to 2nd gear at 11.7kph and the cadence is between 55 and 60RPM. The change from 2nd to 3rd is 20.0kph and again the RPM is close to 60.I find that the 3rd gear spins out at about 50kph (for me). Remembering of course that the bike and its functions have been designed NOT for speed but for urban and leisure use and should not be compared with other bike designs that offer speed and off road capabilities. The potential for this bike, far exceeds the expected capabilities.The gear change takes some getting used & requires a combination of understanding the rpm and power assist level for a well balanced ride. I find in second gear on any climb over 2%up to 5% gradient it is comfortable using Eco mode on the 2ndor3rd bar of assist, maintaining a steady speed of between 15 and 18kph. A 5% incline or more then I would use 3 to 5 bars in the Eco mode. Above 7or8 % the assist and gearing will change but this bike will do it comfortably.The Torque sensors are a real game changer with almost instantaneous immediate response. The colour Display has 3 clean, clear backlit options . The Hydraulic disc brakes produced by Tektro are effective and perform very well. The adjustable front suspension reduces vibration. The frames substantial locking mechs work and are secure. The Paint finish appears good easy to keep clean and appears very durable. The tyres a brand I know very little about look and feel high quality. The rolling resistance and grip theyprovide is excellent. I will consider replacing them like for like when the time comes. The battery charger is extremely light weight and quite compact and will charge from empty to full in 6 hours. The rear rack is quite narrow, to fit most panniers will require a few easy adaptions and the correct choice of bags. If fitted correctly there will be no heel strikes.There is no toe overlap with this bike. This bike will suit many styles, urban, weekend touring and beyond suitable for beginners and experienced riders. It has a strong build, quality feel and is most definitely well worth the asking price. No hesitation to recommend this bike and the company that produce it. It would be nice if the gear changes take place a little later and offer a cadence closer to 70RPM before changing. A combination of power level assist and cadence works well to a large extent but I can see this as a factor that might reduce the amount of...

The bike is more beautiful in person than in the photo. Beautiful design and color! Really top construction and assembly! Excellent packaging and shipping. Very easy to assemble.
I did a first test ride of 15 km and the ADO Air 20 Pro thrilled me! Everything seemed perfect: engine, frame, suspension, brakes... the automatic transmission is fantastic!!
The only flaw was the pain in the coccyx at the end of the ride: I would suggest ADO to look for a solution, for the moment I will take a padded seat cover with a hollow in the center.

L'Ado Air 20 Pro est tout simplement le meilleur vï¿½ï¿½lo que j'ai pu avoir en ma possession.

Il s'agit de mon cinquiï¿½ï¿½me vï¿½ï¿½lo et du 4ï¿½ï¿½me au format 20" pliable, qui est devenu un impï¿½ï¿½ratif pour moi, pour mes trajets quotidiens domicile/travail en train.

Je ne connaissais pas encore les vï¿½ï¿½los ï¿½ï¿½ courroie avant d'essayer L'air 20 Pro et je dois dire que je ne reviendrais dï¿½ï¿½sormais plus jamais en arriï¿½ï¿½re : Trï¿½ï¿½s silencieux, changement de vitesse automatique, pas d'entretien ni de graissage de cha?ne, pas de cha?ne qui saute... Un vrai bonheur !

Je viens de dï¿½ï¿½passer les 2000km avec ce vï¿½ï¿½lo, aprï¿½ï¿½s 6 mois d'utilisation et je ne pourrais pas ï¿½ï¿½tre plus satisfait.

J'ai pu changer les plaquettes de freins, remplacer les ï¿½ï¿½triers (l'un des deux s'est cassï¿½ï¿½ dans un accident), purger le liquide de frein, changer les chambres ï¿½ï¿½ air lors d'une crevaison...
Mention toute particuliï¿½ï¿½re au support technique ADO, extrï¿½ï¿½mement rï¿½ï¿½actif et disponible pour m'aider en toutes circonstances.

Voici tout de mï¿½ï¿½me les quelques rares points ï¿½ï¿½ amï¿½ï¿½liorer, que j'a pu noter dans ce laps de temps :
- La fixation magnï¿½ï¿½tique fournie pour maintenir le vï¿½ï¿½lo repliï¿½ï¿½, n'est pas assez efficace et durable.
- Le clignotant est un ajout apprï¿½ï¿½ciable, mais il faudrait qu'il clignote aussi bien ï¿½ï¿½ l'avant qu'ï¿½ï¿½ l'arriï¿½ï¿½re, ce qui n'est pas le cas.

Si je dois commander un nouveau vï¿½ï¿½lo, mon choix se portera sur Ado, sans hï¿½ï¿½siter.

Je possï¿½ï¿½de une moto ï¿½ï¿½lectrique que jï¿½ï¿½ai totalement dï¿½ï¿½laissï¿½ï¿½e depuis que jï¿½ï¿½utilise lï¿½ï¿½Ado Air 20 avec lequel je prends ï¿½ï¿½normï¿½ï¿½ment de plaisir ï¿½ï¿½ voyager. Je nï¿½ï¿½ai pas de points nï¿½ï¿½gatifs ï¿½ï¿½ relever, pour son prix, vous obtenez un vï¿½ï¿½lo fiable trï¿½ï¿½s agrï¿½ï¿½able en toutes circonstances. Jï¿½ï¿½ai apportï¿½ï¿½ ï¿½ï¿½ ce vï¿½ï¿½lo des modifications qui me semblaient justifiï¿½ï¿½e par lï¿½ï¿½usage intense que jï¿½ï¿½en fait (phares, selle, suspension de selle, arrimage de caddie). Pour la grande majoritï¿½ï¿½ des gens, il sera au top tel que re?u ! A mon humble avis, peu de personne, font avec un vï¿½ï¿½lo 20ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ pliant, 2500 km en moins de six mois ! Je tiens ï¿½ï¿½galement ï¿½ï¿½ souligner le professionnalisme du service aprï¿½ï¿½s-vente, qui nï¿½ï¿½a pas hï¿½ï¿½sitï¿½ï¿½ ï¿½ï¿½ me remplacer le premier vï¿½ï¿½lo re?u, qui comportait une anomalie pour laquelle leur responsabilitï¿½ï¿½ nï¿½ï¿½ï¿½ï¿½tait pas clairement ï¿½ï¿½tablie. En rï¿½ï¿½sumï¿½ï¿½, si vous chercher un vï¿½ï¿½lo fiable, agrï¿½ï¿½able, ï¿½ï¿½ acheter auprï¿½ï¿½s dï¿½ï¿½une ï¿½ï¿½quipe rï¿½ï¿½active et compï¿½ï¿½tente, nï¿½ï¿½hï¿½ï¿½sitez pas. Pour ma part, je lorgne dï¿½ï¿½jï¿½ï¿½ leur nouveau modï¿½ï¿½le.

Cycling made easy

Being in my seventies I wanted the assistance of an Ebike, I made the right decision with the Ado air 20 Pro, loving the assist on hills I would of struggled with.
I have changed the saddle as again being older I need more cushion.
All round great bike, yet to try lifting it into the car but as the battery post is easily removed to lighten the lift it should not be a problem.

Splendida ebike

Mi ï¿½ï¿½ arrivata un paio di giorni fa, la mia AIR Pro grigia, dopo un'attesa di due settimane e poco piï¿½ï¿½, , l'ho subito montata, verificata nelle misure e negli attacchi, gonfiato le ruote a giusta pressione e poco dopo l'ho montata e...via, veloci come il vento. Non credevo fosse cosï¿½ï¿½ pronta, efficace e divertente nella pedalata; con modalitï¿½ï¿½ ECO e in terza posizione, raggiunge i 25 km/h in un batter di ciglia e, seppur raggiunto facilmente il limite di velocitï¿½ï¿½ consentito dalle normative europee in cittï¿½ï¿½ e normalmente, si puï¿½ï¿½ aumentare la velocitï¿½ï¿½ con il solo apporto muscolare, che comunque risulta agevole, riuscendo a raggiungere anche i 30 km/h in pianura. Ho provato anche la modalitï¿½ï¿½ SPORT, utile soprattutto su strade in pendenza, e le sensazioni di velocitï¿½ï¿½ e di efficienza aumentano sensibilmente. Una gran bella ebike pieghevole che affascina, diverte e risulta davvero molto utile in cittï¿½ï¿½, sia per lavoro che per il tempo libero. Finora non sto trovando difetti a questa splendida macchina ben concepita, studiata e realizzata. Forse il display dovrebbe avere piï¿½ï¿½ comandi dedicati invece che ricorrere all'app sul telefono ad esso collegato via Bluetooth. Per esempio il passaggio tra la modalitï¿½ï¿½ ECO a SPORT....Forse il sellino potrebbe essere piï¿½ï¿½ morbido e con molle e forse una pompa a mano ridotta sotto il porta pacco andrebbe bene..... e forse gli indicatori di svolta dovrebbero avere piï¿½ï¿½ intensitï¿½ï¿½ di luce e magari staccati dalla luce posteriore....Ad ogni modo, i miei complimenti alla ADO per questa splendida ebike. Chapeau !
