I am exited, because of the ado air 20 pro with the automatic gear change motor from Bafang.

Hi, we've just got our two ADO Air 20 Pros and did some first test rides. The bikes' look is fantastic and the built quality seems to match it. The ride is very comfortable and the Bafang motor works very well. I still have to get used to not having a proper gear shift but for our purpose - commuting - it's fine and relaxed. However two issues popped up for which I haven't found an answer on the www yet. Firstly, I could not find the information on how many kilometres/miles are left on the battery charge during a ride. This information is quite critical as I don't want to run out of battery on my commute. Secondly, we bought range extenders in form of a water bottle. It comes with a very nice and sturdy "bottle" holder. Unfortunately the ADO Air 20 Pro does not have screw sets incorporated into the frame though screws are included. The cable straps also included in the package are of good quality but the form of the frame does not allow a tight fit. The bike is great if only I had a solution for these two issues. I've just received my new AIR which was delivered very quickly (3 working days). It was very well boxed and protected. Everything that should have been in the box was in the box and the bike was easily assembled. The only issue I had, ironically, was fitting the front plastic fender which comes as standard. It was fiddly with 2 metal brackets that were not easy to bend into place. The rear fender was a doddle. The battery was almost fully charged when it arrived so I took it out for a test run.

First, the bike looks great in the Ivory I chose. Then it folds and unfolds easily and quickly. Everything is easily adjustable and the whole bike feels very well built and sturdy. Nothing rattles and the motor is really quiet. The display is easily visible in daylight and very clear. It took 2 or 3 attempts to link to the display via the app on my android but once linked the response is almost instant.

On the road the torque sensor provides instant response to pedal pressure. It's a delight to ride and I rarely needed speed setting 3 but this level makes inclines effortless and on the level provides instant acceleration. I am very pleased with the bike and can fully recommend it. I ordered the helmet to go with the bike and this looks great too. It's fully adjustable and has a tinted visor that clips to the helmet with three magnetic studs. All together, a really good purchase and great products. Well done ADO!

Purchased the bike and was really excited only to be let down massively. The battery is jammed and cannot be removed. The key entry position is horrible. The bike wiring is dodgy. All these positive reviews are miracles, probably paid by Ado to ride and review. Buy from elsewhere and different brand. I paid the price and regret my decision. Ado will not help and are totally useless.

I've had the beast for a while now and I absolutely adore it. It's amazing with the big fat wheels that go onto the beach with no problem at all.
I'm 6' 4 " tall and 17 stone and this ebike is a perfect fit for me, the extra 25 nm (65nm total) helps with the hills. The styling is great and we always get stopped whilst riding them to get asked about the ebikes.

Bike itself is well built and a lovely ride with great features the control panel is also exceptional. I ordered an international version which the website states will arrive with a throttle fitted and the bike unlocked to full speed, this is not the case the throttle is sent separately and until fitted remains restricted hence the 3 stars for the misleading website info and hassle. The bike in itself is still awesome

Having looked at a wide range of foldable ebikes, I settled on the ADO Air and am delighted.
It arrived only a few days after ordering it and was very easy to assemble so I was up and running in no time.
It's a torque assist bike so you do have to pedal - if you're looking for something you can just sit on and cruise along, this isn't it, however the assistance is great and even on level 3 (of 5) I was easily climbing hills without getting sweaty or out of breath. (The assist stops around 15-16mph and it's single speed so isn't designed to do fast paced riding but for trips to the shops or from the train to the office, it's perfect)
The bike folds quickly and is reasonably compact considering the fairly chunky tyres - I have yet to take it on a train but I don't think it'll be an issue.
The companion app shows promise and I'm looking forward to increased functionality and hopefully they can add more to the very clear display screen on the handlebars.
I'm really happy with my purchase and look forward to using the bike instead of the car as much as possible.

Hi,
I did receive the throttle in a very good condition but it is not working on the bike again,twice I went to two bike machines,it cost me £100,and they are not able to get the throttle work on the bike.
I like the bike, I enjoy cycling it but without using the throttle that is problem.
If in the future I buy a bike with your company ADO, you will have to put the throttle yourself before the bike gets sent to me or to anyone who is having the same problem fixing the throttle.

Just received (as one of the first buyers) my brand new ADO AIR Pro, it has been arrived almost complety installed, metal fenders, metal rack, very good hydraulic brakes, big size battery for a folding bike (350 Wh in seatpost)
The complete bike is build with an impressive quality, absolutely stable, top anthracite varnish. Any ride is an enjoyment. Most awesome for me is the gearbox inside the motor. Originally the Ado Air is a single speed, but the PRO has a two shift gearbox. when it reaches 19.5 km/h it shifts into 2nd gear, and falls back to 1st gear by roughly 16 -17 km/h. This works really reliable and smooth, it makes me able to have a lower cadence at higher speed. I am really impressed on this innovation from Bafang. Never had seen this before.
I am really impressed of ADO AIR PRO, and 100% satisfied.

So far so good ado as delivered everything I needed from a bike,light weight great stopping power and no more oily chain, only covered a few miles at the moment but I found the bike easy to use and very quiet in operation thanks for providing a great bike at a great price would definitely recommend this bike to anyone looking for a folding bike

The build quality is on point. I have a few cons to mention hopefully they'll get better on future iterations. The saddle is abominably uncomfortable. It has no place on any bike never mind a 1500 euro bike. I m currently rehabbing my left leg i can not lift weights in this period. The assist when you re pushing the bike folded is super handy but the wheels do not stay together. The magnets for the wheels should be installed by default not a 20 euro accesory. But overall a great bike after you change the saddle. I get around 65km range with moderate hills and flat terrain on step 2 assist. I recommend it for anyone rehabbing leg injuries. C ya!

No tool to tighten it

Hi, I borrowed a friend's DECE 300 about a week ago as I would like to use an electric bike to get too and from work ( about 40km either way), but all those I have tested are not suitable for a human of my size.

I am 194cm and 130kg (big not overweight) so all bikes trialed suffered dramatically. Your bike was a pleasure to ride, comfortable, responsive and I had fun - but - mass is a critical factor, and as an electrical engineer I understand over stressing electric motors doesn't end well, it really reduced the range dramatically - from a full charge to 10% I only got 41km, about 50% stated range - braking was an issue once I realised I needed to respond sooner due to my weight pushing the limits.

Can I ask that in your next iteration of the bike you consider upping the weight capabilities of the bike - I'm not that unusual - and consider an option for a larger capacity battery to take into account operational needs.

I am still hunting for an e-bike, so improvements above would be amazing and would then making the investment viable.

Just received our bikes! Packaging was great, and fully protected the bikes for transit. The bikes are very sturdy, and appear very well made.
I would however like some assurances on the batteries. How to store them, on or off the bike! Are they safe to transport off the bikes, inside a campervan? Do they have fully certified safety certificates? There is so much being reported by the media at the moment regarding fires with the batteries, which worries me. Any answers to these questions would be appreciated (for my piece of mind 🙈)

I bought the Air28 Pro last year, and I've been using it almost every day since. The dual-speed motor is really impressive. I saw the promotion for the three-speed motor and I'm really hoping it lives up to my expectations!

Thank you for making such a great bike. It’s very smooth and very light. I enjoy riding it. But the application is a bit slow, sometimes just kept thinking. Would suggest the anti puncture for the tyres and the detachable rear basket to make it perfect. Love it!!

Being in my seventies I wanted the assistance of an Ebike, I made the right decision with the Ado air 20 Pro, loving the assist on hills I would of struggled with.
I have changed the saddle as again being older I need more cushion.
All round great bike, yet to try lifting it into the car but as the battery post is easily removed to lighten the lift it should not be a problem.
