Is it possible to change speed? Is it weatherproof?
ADO Air 20S has a single gear. However, you can choose to use 3 levels of electrical power to assist your ride. Besides, ADO Air 20S is equipped with a smart torque sensor system that provides you immediate power assistance according to terrain. In this case, even if you ride or start the ride on an incline, you will get the assistance you need immediately even with a single gear.
Yes, ADO Air 20S is IPX5 waterproof and the IPS display is IPX7 waterproof, all electronic components are sealed to prevent ingress of heavy rain and dust.
Is ADO Air 20S certified?
According to SGS CE EN15194 and SGS UKCA, ADO Air 20 conforms to the requirements of: Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), the EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), and the Radio Equipment Directive (2014/53/EU), and DIN EN 15194:2017, and ADO Air 20 battery complies with UN 38.3 lithium-ion battery testing standards.
How long is the warranty period?
For bike frame, 10 years warranty; For controllers, motors, batteries, forks, head tubes, handlebars, chargers, pedals, flywheels, chainstays: 12 months warranty. Should you encounter some production related manufacturer’s defect during this period, we will take care of it according to our warranty. What is the difference between the International and EU versions? Which option is best for me?
Check the e-bike laws in your country when making your decision:
* EU version to be compliant with laws on e-bikes in most EU-countries: no throttle installed, max speed 25km/h, 250w motor
* International version with no restrictions: throttle installed, max speed 30km/h, 350w motor.
If you order the international version of ADO Air 20 within the EU, you will receive a charger that meets EU specifications.But it is not officially legal to drive ADO Air 20 international version on public roads in the EU. You are only allowed to own it and drive it on private property.
