I was looking for a bike that wasn’t too heavy, didn’t require much maintenance and had a decent range for getting around town or going for a ride in the park.
I’ve been really pleased with my choice.
It fits in the lift, so I don’t have to pay for a dedicated garage.
The three-speed version really pays off on bridges, ramps and so on. Once you’ve learnt to slow down to change down a gear before approaching the slope, it becomes very easy to ride.
You can really feel the difference between the various levels of assistance.
I use it with five levels instead of three, so the assistance is more gradual and I can get some exercise in a very controlled, low-impact way. Generally speaking, on the flat, levels 2 or 3 are fine; on hills i use 4 or 5. Changing the speed it's very handy and easy, moreover the screen is bright and clear.
The only thing I'd like to have is the possibility to show the time and the battery percentage (it reset every time despite having set it from the app)
The belt drive is really quiet, and I can finally say goodbye to greasy chains that risk getting me dirty.
Even in Eco mode, it’s really responsive when pulling away from traffic lights and can feel a bit twitchy on gravel tracks.
Personally, for city use with a bit of light off-roading, it’s perfect.
I was worried the saddle would be uncomfortable, but for 30-minute commutes or 1-hour rides, it’s not bad at all.
I appreciate the sleek design with the headlight integrated into the frame, but it feels odd not to have the beam following the wheel when you turn; that’s why I’ve added an extra torch to the handlebars anyway.
One thing to note: I’ve read about other users breaking their pedals. As I’m quite aggressive on them - even though I weigh less than 65kg - I decided straight away to fit flat metal pedals that aren’t too aggressive (without large spikes) and not give it a second thought. This makes folding the bike a bit problematic as the left pedal can get in the way, but that was less important to me.
Unfortunately, thicker padlocks won’t fit through the spokes of the wheels, bear that in mind.
A nice looking e-bike with a lot of pleasant features. Like Anti-theft GPS, the three-speed automatic gearhub and of course the silent belt drive. It is so fun and comfortable for me to ride this bicycle. Also the suspension under the seat is a welcome touch. The only very little con for me to mention is that the well-integrated battery charging, is a bit slow. Overall, I love this bike!

I'm very happy with this bike after about 90 km. Maybe the packaging should be improved, as I found some scratches on the frame and pedals levers. Not happy with the stock pedals, too small and not foldable. I replaced them with bigger ones and foldable.
Anyway, I do like it. The APP should be improved, the riding times, in terms of h:m of the rides are always wrong.

I was looking for my first e-bike for both city and out-of-town riding. Among the many options on the market, I chose the sleek design of the latest-generation (2026) ADO AIR 20, featuring a torque sensor and an automatic 3-speed system. It is compact, foldable, and quiet on the road, yet responsive in the city and on inclines. I don't have to worry about shifting gears, so I can focus entirely on the road and take in my surroundings. I believe the Air Power bank has the potential to be an excellent addition to my bike. Unfortunately, the bracket that comes with it, is obviously designed for - and created for -another bike which has a water bracket. I made small brackets for the back carrier and placed the Power bank on same. In its original proposed position, the bracket moves on uneven ground and more annoying, is the fact that the power lead and power switch are inaccessible. In Ado’s video, they have to be connected and powered before you lock in the power pack. When affixed to the carrier they are easily assessable and rock solid. In this age of 3d printers etc. Ado should have a better solution to the mounting bracket
Das ADO Air 20 Pro ist jetzt seit rund anderthalb Jahren und knapp 4.000 km mein tägliches Transportmittel. Für meine 1,73 m hat das Bike eine sehr ergonomische Größe. Mit einer Akkuladung und mittlerer Unterstützung komme ich über zwei bis drei Arbeitstage. Der Motor unterstützt smooth, die beiden Gänge sind super abgestimmt. Soweit alles perfekt. Kommen wir zum nicht so Guten: Die Qualität der Komponenten. Als erstes habe ich bessere Reifen (leiser, leichtlaufender) verbaut. Als nächstes mussten nach 800 km die defekten knackenden Pedalen und die verschlissenen Bremsbeläge getauscht werden. Als drittes fiel nach einem Jahr der Drehmomentsensor aus. Als viertes ist nach 3.600 km der Carbonriemen beim Anfahren gerissen. Und als fünftes ist nun die Sattelklemme gebrochen. Ich kann zwar den Kundenservice von ADO für seine schnellen Problemlösungen loben. Doch ärgerlich ist es trotzdem, wenn man laufend Ärger mit dem Bike hat, auf das man sich täglich verlassen muss.
Bought for holidays with caravan. To get the daily baquette in the morning 😊. (Mine came with little basket, which is great). The bike came super packaged: all parts protected. An art in itself. Putting together was easy.
Driving experience: I weigh 105kg and length is 192cm. No problem for this bike, although for steeper slopes one of the other models probably would perform better. Brakes okay. Engine can be a little bit noisy, but accelerates fine. At 25 km/h pedaling feels a bit off. Pedaling air. Carbon belt in stead of greasy chain is the best. Display is nice. The bike weighs 18 kg, which still is a bit heavy. With my weight the saddle post (battery) tends to sink. The clamp needs the be tightened at max. Bold that fixates the saddle came loose twice, which can be dangerous. All together a nice foldable bike with a few quirks.
It’s perfect for a city break ! The range of a fully charged battery it is around 55-60 km for 85Kg adult using eco mode in 80% of a plain route. Is perfect even to have it in a camper. I have two of this bike, for me and my wife. I recommend
The bikes are fantastic, the paint work has been touched up before leaving the factory and as flaked off, in one day of use. This is really poor quality control. We purchased two bikes and this happened on both bikes on the hinge where it folds in the middle.
Great design and value , to have such a nice piece product for extra power in case you need extended range battery !
The new version of ado 20 air comes with different power charger and different discharge plug (new version) so the powerbank (had old version) make it incompatible… few messages/mails with customer help ,give solution with adapter+extra charger to match this awesome products! Thanks ADO!

På videoen ser det nemt ud, at skifte bremseklodserne. For mig var langt sværere. Det tog min 45-50 min at skifte både på forhjulet og baghjulet. Vigtig information: Der følger ingen split pen med, når du køber dine break pads. Det undrer jeg mig over.
The controller was believed without manual therefore no information of the connectors. I ask for help an got an installation video.

Nothing to complain about beside the mudguard being a bit crooked. But this was easy to fix. Easy installation. I'm happy. There will be no bike with such quality in this price range.
UPDATE: Ein durchdachtes Produkt, das uns grundsätzlich gut gefällt.
MINUS: Mit feuchten Fingern öffnet das Schloss nicht (Finger wird nicht erkannt, rotes Licht)! Veralteter USB-Micro-Stecker (kein USB-C).
PLUS: Kein Schlüssel oder Zahlencode nötig. Schönes Design mit abgerundetem Gehäuse, lässt sich einfach und sehr schnell bedienen. Das Aufladen erfolgt mit ca. 125 mA Ladestrom ausreichend schnell.
Dopo quasi 6 mesi, posso dire che è davvero una eBike davvero bella e comoda da usare (quasi tutti i giorni 20km casa-lavoro con un po di dislivello), la pedalata è fluida e tranquilla, per utilizzo cittadino è l'ideale, la sospensione anteriore assorbe bene anche il peggior manto di asfalto, mi è capitato anche di fare del fuoristrada fangoso e anche in quelle condizioni si è comportata bene. Per esperienza il supporto è ottimo e si prodiga per consigli e/o risoluzioni di problemi.
I’m not an experienced cyclist and I’m loving the simplicity of this bike. No gear changes. Easy to use and very comfortable. Well made and very good value. I’m very happy.
Deliver was fast, bike is light and pretty, it has good quality and rides nicely smooth.
Aufmerksam bin ich im Sommer auf dieses E-Bike geworden. Ein Ehepaar hatte zwei von diesen Rädern. Ich war sofort vom Design begeistert und habe mich sofort über die technischen Ausstattungen informiert.
Danach wurde sofort ein Bike für meine Frau geordert. Der Fahrspass übertrug sich auch auf mich: jetzt haben wir zwei air20pro !!!
Ein kleiner Mangel wurde festgestellt: die Schutzbleche haben keine Spoiler, so dass bei nassem Wetter die grobstolligen Reifen den Schmutz auf Tretlager und ins offene Sattelstützenrohr von unten werfen.
Ansonsten macht das Fahren sehr viel Spass.
I leave in a city with lots of hills , The Air 20 Ultra grab it with no problem, even the hardest !I have it for 3 weeks and already 200 km.No REGRET! "I Cross the city" in 20 minutes so bye bye metros, cars, traffic jams who make me mad.
First day I had problems with the seatpost clamp, I wrote to Ado, they reacted very quickly and send me another one.
