Safety, accuracy and convenience!

These Ado bikes are first class. The build quality is great and the packaging for transit was excellent making sure they arrived in good condition. Easy to assemble with comprehensive instructions and overall a really great service from this company.

The battery runs out quicker than I thought it would, otherwise, everything works fine.

Enjoyed my first ride, but unfortunately both bikes had scratches in delivery but too much hassle to return.

Love everything about it, apart from the saddle which would benefit by being sprung.

I ordered the bike and the money disappeared from my account but the bike never arrived within the given time frame. After I finally got a reply to my emails, I was told that the bike was out of stock but would be back in stock and shipped by the end of the week. Surely it would be easy enough to state whether the item is in stock or not on the web site?
The bike though, I am quite pleased with, it does everything I expected of it. There are one or two minor gripes though. The handbook I received is for the Air 20 but I have the Air 20 Pro, so some information applicable to the Pro model is non existent. There are no instructions on how to operate the lights etc. on the screen, you have to find out for yourself. My last point is that it is disappointing that the readout on the screen is only in metric. Call me old fashioned but I still work in miles, not kilometres, like the rest of the UK.
On the whole though I am pleased with the bike.

Ordered my Air Carbon in black delivery was very quick and efficient within 2 days. Beautifully packed and quality of build is A ++.
Initial use and impression all very satisfying.

For the hardcover public transport (London, UK) it would be great if there is a short dummy seat post that can work as a carry handle.
I would remove the battery post and carry in rucksack,It would be lighter work carry battery in rucksack.

ADO Air 20 Pro Folding Electric Bike

This bike is almost the unicorn of folding bikes. Belt drive, internally geared hub with electric assist, a robust frame and folding mechanism, fenders, rack and lights - and it's only 18kg.

Pros:
- The price is right. Seriously, this is a great deal. The only better folding bikes you'll find are the Brompton P Line and Tern Vektron at twice the price. The Vektron is also 4kg heavier, and neither of them have belt drives.
- The belt drive means no grease or constantly wearing drivetrain. I live in the Pacific Northwest and this is a must-have in the rainy, dirty winter.
- Folding is easy. The bike can be rolled around by the seatpost while folded.
- Small enough to fit on a subway/tram/LRT car either folded or unfolded.
- The rear rack is sturdy enough to use this as a cargo bike.
- The Bafang motor and Samsung battery seatpost allow your bike shop to maintain and procure parts for the foreseeable future.
- Headlight is StVZO compliant, meaning it has a well-defined beam shape to avoid blinding people. This is good if you bicycle on shared trail systems.
- Tern accessories will fit on the bike.

Cons:
- The electronics lack polish compared to the Bosch system. The IPS display doesn't show you battery percentage. There's no quick way to switch between ECO and SPORT on the display itself. The display dims when the lights are on, which makes it unreadable in daylight.
- Neither the battery seatpost or display have a charge indicator. You need to unplug the charger and turn on the bike to check the battery level.
- The bike is a little too big and a little too heavy to bring on a bus, in a crowded space, or while walking. If that's your use-case, an e-Brompton might be better.
- No cafe lock mounting holes. I had to figure out a bracket.
- No center stand mounting hole.

Unless you have a strong opinion otherwise, buy swept-back handlebars and matching seat so that you can sit completely upright. I recommend the Soma Oxford bars and Selle Royale Ondina or Holland Unitech seats. You may also want to get a Satori Aberhallo extender to bring the handlebars even closer to you. You'll use this bike every single day if you sit comfortably upright.

If this is your first e-bike purchase, go for it!

The bike makes a great impression, it drives excellently, the support is great. Unfortunately, this is a complaint at a high level, when the speed is over 20 km/h the cadence is very high, but that wouldn't make me buy the bike again. I am 100% satisfied

ADO Storage bag for Folding E-Bike

Thank you for making such a great bike. It’s very smooth and very light. I enjoy riding it. But the application is a bit slow, sometimes just kept thinking. Would suggest the anti puncture for the tyres and the detachable rear basket to make it perfect. Love it!!

After 1000km of trouble-free riding, I'm delighted with my ADO e-bike. It's powerful, dependable, and comfortable. I added an oversized saddle on an Airseat suspension, raised the handlebars with an stem extension, and bolted on a quick release rear basket. This e-bike meets all my needs at an economical cost - and it looks great too!

I purchased this bike because I need to use it to travel to work and still be able to use the Train or Bus without having to pay extra. And I can say, its done its purpose. The bike is almost 3 kg more than what was advertised, which was a little bit hard for me, because Im just a small woman with small stature, but it is still better and lighter than what I purchased from other store before, which i returned. Overall in satisfied condition with my purchase. The Bike is really beautiful, cant live it outside.

Nothing but praise for the ADO Air 20. It components are of better quality than other foldable e-bikes on the same price range: from the hydraulic disc brakes to the high quality LED, tires and the mechanical locks and hinges... It definitely stands above all competitors. I'm super happy with it.

Works good nice material Quality

Na lang zoeken naar een e-bike met goede specs en een redelijke prijs kwam ik uit bij deze ADO AIR28. Na 2 weken kan ik wel zeggen dat het echt een prima aankoop is en dat de fiets mij uitermate goed bevalt. De accuduur lijkt redelijk goed te doen wat men belooft en alles functioneert prima alleen lukt het me nog niet om de App te verbinden.
2 dingen vielen wat tegen waaronder het wat harde zadel, die is ondertussen vervangen en dat blijkt een heerlijke verbetering. Het 2e wat écht tegenvalt is de koplamp (die zit nu ook nog op het optionele mandje die NIET meedraait met de stuurbeweging), wát een matige lichtopbrengst en slechte lichtbundel. Dit probleem probeer ik ook nog te tackelen met mijn creatieve geest!

Verder een waanzinnig goede en fijne (én mooie) fiets voor dit geld. Zeer tevreden, ook over de support en de aftersales van ADO

Excellent bike

Hi, we've just got our two ADO Air 20 Pros and did some first test rides. The bikes' look is fantastic and the built quality seems to match it. The ride is very comfortable and the Bafang motor works very well. I still have to get used to not having a proper gear shift but for our purpose - commuting - it's fine and relaxed. However two issues popped up for which I haven't found an answer on the www yet. Firstly, I could not find the information on how many kilometres/miles are left on the battery charge during a ride. This information is quite critical as I don't want to run out of battery on my commute. Secondly, we bought range extenders in form of a water bottle. It comes with a very nice and sturdy "bottle" holder. Unfortunately the ADO Air 20 Pro does not have screw sets incorporated into the frame though screws are included. The cable straps also included in the package are of good quality but the form of the frame does not allow a tight fit. The bike is great if only I had a solution for these two issues. Not perfect but good

The bike has the new 2 gear transmission. It shifts gear around 19 km per hour and allows for an easy pace to reach its topspeed at 25.6 kmph. A major improvement compared to my other ADO e-bike, the ADO Air 20.
